The final battle of Ise took place in 1574. Nobunaga finally defeated the Ikko-Ikki sect, using ships (under the command of Kuki Yoshitaka) To blockade the area. After seizing the perimeter, Nobunaga encircled and incinerated the Ikko Sect. None survived.
